Uniferon® contains 200 mg of elemental iron per ml, which is double the strength of 100 mg/ml iron products.
Industrial standards indicate that all piglets should receive a minimum of 200-400 mg of iron before weaning. The utilization of a higher concentration product reduces the stress of unnecessary handling and injection while reducing the swine production labor costs.
